Industrial users can now rely on Scott’s tough new Industrial SCBA as the cost effective solution for IDLH-level respiratory protection in non-fire related work. The Industrial SCBA is suitable for many day-to-day industrial applications, and it is an ideal choice for stand-by respiratory protection.

INTERCHANGEABLE COMPONENTS FOR ENHANCED VALUE
The Industrial SCBA is equipped with either the Scott-O-Vista or AV-2000 facepiece. These Scott face pieces offer a broad range of vision as well as a comfortable head net for ease of donning and doffing. Scott face pieces make the Industrial SCBA an outstanding value because they are interchangeable with Scott air-supplied and air-purifying respirators. This gives the industrial users the benefit of simplified user training and reduced equipment inventories.
For those users requiring enhanced communications, the AV-2000‘ face piece features dual voicemitters for clear voice transmission. Scott’s new voice amplifier may be attached to one of the voicemitters to project the user’s voice over an even greater distance. Unlike the AV-2000, the Scott-O-Vista does not contain voicemitters or a nosecup.
Like the Scott-O-Vista and AV-2000 face pieces, the Industrial SCBA’s E-Z Flo‘ regulator features he same design offered on other Scott Respirators. (Not equipped with Vibrator alarm) This further simplifies and maximizes the benefits of user training.
With a positive locking mount for quick donning, the E-Z Flo regulator features first breathe activation. An air-saver switch allows user to place the SCBA in standby mode with an activated cylinder.

EASE OF CYLINDER CHANGES
Efficient Cylinder changes are promoted by means of a double-locking latch and durable Kevlar‚ fabric band. Simple adjustment of a cam-over-center slide permits the accommodation of both 30-minute and 60-minute cylinders. This is the same high quality system offered on Scott’s innovative Air-Pak‚ Fifty‰ SCBA.

Whether escaping an industrial spill, handling a HAZMAT situation, or conduction a search and rescue operation in a confined space, the Ska-Pak® Plus is designed for easy use and versatility.
SKA-PAK® Plus WORK APPLICATIONS
The Ska-Pak® Plus has been designed to meet all escape or entry/egress respiratory needs for hazardous situations, including those identified as IDLH. The applications of the Ska-Pak® Plus are numerous and include the following:

VERSATILE
Ska-Pak® Plus is the first NIOSH approved system which integrates fall protection with a supplied-air respirator. The result is a high-performance respirator. The result is a high-performance respirator with enhanced user acceptance.
Ska-Pak® Plus is available in various escape and entry/egress models. Users needing escape-only models. For those needing the option of both entry and escape, Ska-Pak® Plus comes in entry/egress models featuring an air-line manifold for attachments to a Type-C airline for continuous air-supply in IDLH environments.
With either model, users have the choice of four fitting options- Hansen, Schrader, Hansen HK, and Foster – for maximum versatility with an entire respiratory protection program.
Both escape-only and entry/egress Ska-Pak® Plus models are available in various configurations of 5- and 10- minute durations in 3000psi pressures.

STREAMLINE DESIGN
Both versions of the Ska-Pak® Plus System feature a streamlined profile for easy entry/exit and work in confined spaces. Because cylinders are constructed of either lightweight aluminum or thin, aluminum liners wrapped in composite materials, overall weight and dimensions are significantly decreased, resulting in improved productivity.

FAST, EASY CYLINDER CHANGES
The Ska-Pak® Plus allows quick and simple bottle change-outs. Cylinders are easily attached or removed from the harness by means of the new E-Z Klip ™ cylinder retention system. A spring-tensioned, cylinder retention hook attached to the cylinder just below the valve, slips into a waist-mounted hanger bracket and locks the cylinder into place. The cylinder is easily released by depressing the retention hook towards the waist and lifting the cylinder upward. Users with 3000 psi models can switch between 5- and 10- minute durations for maximum versatility.
